As a child, Dr. Greg Gardner did not like going to the dentist. He has scary memories of visiting the dental office. As a result, Dr. Greg understands what it takes to help kids feel comfortable when they visit him.  It is his goal to “help every child and parent master the dental experience” in a more positive, and comfortable way. Dr. Greg completed dental school at the University of the Pacific in 2012, followed by a general practice residency in Mississippi.  Later, while practicing dentistry in California he wanted to help more patients have fewer dental fears, so he completed a pediatric dental residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Greg, his wife Laura, and their three amazing children decided Colorado was the place for them.  Dr. Greg grew up in Littleton, so Colorado is home for him, but new to his family.  When he is not doing “dental stuff”, he enjoys time with family and friends going skiing, wakeboarding, watching movies, running obstacle courses, playing chess, and taking naps.  He likes spelling, math, and geography too, so you can ask for help with homework. He does not however, like writing bios!!  Dr. Greg also loves jokes – so share any dental or ‘dad’ jokes, please!
Dr. Nate was born and raised three hours northeast of Denver in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. During his childhood, he and his family enjoyed many vacations to Colorado. Dr. Nate earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008 from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Nate completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He spent the next eight years of his career in private practice in Omaha and Denver. During this time, he developed a passion for treating children’s dental needs, so he decided to return to school to further his training in pediatric dentistry. In 2019, Dr. Nate completed a pediatric dental residency from the world-renowned Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Iowa. Upon graduation, Dr. Nate, his wife Leslie, and their dog Raja moved back to Denver. Dr. Nate is thrilled to be back in the Mile High City working with children. In addition to his duties at Comfort Dental Kids, Dr. Nate serves as Pediatric Clinical Consultant and Team Leader for Sonrisa Immaculata, a non-profit organization which regularly travels to Guatemala to provide free dental care. In his spare time, Dr. Nate enjoys playing basketball, snow skiing, playing music, and listening to podcasts.
Dr. Colt grew up in Snowflake, Arizona. He loved his childhood in a small town where he enjoyed playing football, basketball and golf. After high school he served a two-year mission in Mexico for the LDS church. He learned to speak Spanish fluently and gained a great love for the people there. While attending Arizona State University he met and later married his best friend and lovely wife, Ashley. Dr. Colt loves business, but has always known he wanted to be a dentist. After earning a business degree at ASU, he and Ashley moved to Colorado where he attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. In 2010 Dr. Colt graduated as a Doctor of Dental Surgery and began a two year specialty program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas to specialize in treating children. While in Nevada, Dr. Colt and Ashley welcomed their twin boys, Casen and Oliver. Since they enjoyed living in Colorado they decided to move back and joined Comfort Kids in 2012. Dr. Colt thoroughly enjoys working with his patients here. He also loves spending time outdoors, golfing, scuba diving, and traveling, but most of all he enjoys a nice piece of cheesecake!
