Dr. Reed Lederman is a native Washingtonian that has lived most of his life in Sammamish, WA. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, he went on to Roseman University of Health Sciences in South Jordan, UT and received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry with honors. Dr. Lederman was born into a family that brings generations of dentists and dental professionals. His grandfather was the patriarch of the family and started practicing dentistry in 1960. Dr. Lederman’s inspiration was watching the way his grandfather practiced while he was growing up and plans to continue his legacy. It is very important to Dr. Lederman to interact with his patients, working as a team to help solve their concerns in the way that suits each patient best. He takes great pride in providing individualized and focused attention to each and every patient concern. When Dr. Lederman is not serving patients, you can find him enjoying all things outdoors with his fiancé, Carly, and dog, Remy. They like to go hiking, bicycling and camping – no matter the weather. He is also an avid sports fan and tries to watch every Husky and Seahawks football game. Dr. Lederman is excited to join the Comfort Dental team and the Renton Community. He wants to be able to leave a lasting legacy in the area and bring excellent and affordable care to the community. Because, it does run in his blood after all!
Dr. Greg Maggass was born and raised in Paradise Valley, Arizona and has lived all over the world. He got his undergrad degree from the University of Arizona, and obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He has practiced around the Seattle area since 2018, and joined Comfort Dental in 2022 to help bring better oral health and brighter smiles to Fairwood, and have the opportunity to partner in his own practice. Dr. Maggass enjoys meeting patients and using their input to help them improve their lives and meet their goals. He is a strong advocate for explaining conditions and recommending cutting edge treatments that not only will last a long time but will look good and be something that people can afford. He enjoys creating a patient-centric plan and working with every kind of patient, tailoring treatments to their specific needs. He is inspired by his father, a respected physician in Arizona, and his grandmother who was a dental hygienist. While getting his undergrad degree at the University of Arizona, he was able to study and live in Nanjing, China, and Buenos Aires, Argentina taking university courses in Spanish. Dr. Maggass also took time to travel and volunteer in South America before starting dental school. From hiking in Patagonia to an extended volunteership in the favela of Vidigal in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, teaching oral hygiene, English and surfing, he has always been inclined to help those in need. Because of these experiences, Dr. Maggass is a fluent Spanish speaker, a conversational Portuguese speaker, and knows some of the basics of French and Italian. Dr. Maggass believes strongly in giving back to the community, from volunteering in Brazil to outreach in all different levels of school. This continued into dental school, where he was active in many different outreach programs, notably the Hispanic Student Dental Association, using his Spanish speaking to help patients get the care they need. Currently, Dr. Maggass will volunteer with Medical Teams International several times a year to give care to those urgently in need or displaced due to different events. Dr. Maggass is an active person and enjoys skiing, golfing, surfing, hiking, biking, and all sorts of adventures with his wife, Jackie, who is a dental hygienist. He has traveled to over 50 different countries to learn different ways of life, perspectives, languages, food, and experiences. Dr. Maggass is honored to serve the Fairwood-Renton community and looks forward to helping you reach your oral health goals with excellent quality and affordable pricing
